Rathaus Lange Nacht

Das Rathaus Zürich an der "Langen Nacht der Zürcher Museen" 2017.

Mit einem Stück Ornamentik aus dem Innenraum zeigte sich das Rathaus anlässlich der langen Nacht der Museen ganz bewusst nach aussen. Dazu wurde das schmiedeiserne Tor aus dem Innenraum auf das Trottoir projiziert.

Neben dem Blick auf den Boden, erhielt der Blick nach oben zum schönen Sternenhimmel unter dem Vordach grosse Aufmerksamkeit. Hier wurde ein Detail akzentuiert, welches den wenigsten Leuten bekannt ist.

Im Ratssaal wurde der Fokus auf einzelne Elemente gesetzt. Die Aufmerksamkeit galt der Ausstattung, insbesondere dem gestickten Wandteppich. Seine silbernen Fäden sollten wunderbar glänzen. Mittels Projektor wurde das Licht exakt auf die rechteckige Fläche begrenzt. Die schöne Holzdecke wurde mit warmem Licht betont.

Ein eher mystisches Element bildeten die Spiegelkugeln, die auf einzelne Arbeitsflächen gelegt wurden. Diese widerspiegelten Parlamentarier und ihre in den Raum verteilten Worte. Die Kugeln lagen still da, verteilten jedoch ein warmes Licht im Ratssaal.

Zurich City Hall at the "Long Night of the Zurich Museums" 2017.  

With a piece of ornamentation from the interior, the City Hall deliberately showed itself to the outside world on the occasion of the Long Night of the Museums. The wrought-iron gate was projected onto the pavement.  

In addition to the view of the floor, the view upwards to the beautiful starry sky under the canopy, received great attention. Here, a detail was accentuated which is known to very few people.

In the council hall the focus was set on individual elements. Attention was paid to the furnishings, especially the embroidered tapestry. Its silver threads should shine wonderfully. By means of a projector the light was limited exactly to the rectangular area. The beautiful wooden ceiling was emphasized with warm light.  

A rather mystical element was the mirror balls that were placed on individual work surfaces. These reflected parliamentarians and their words distributed throughout the room. The spheres lay still, but distributed a warm light in the council hall.
