Mit dem neuen Lichtkonzept wurde eine Atmosphäre erzeugt, welche die Architektur zur Geltung bringt und eine angenehme Wärme und Geborgenheit ausstrahlt: Der Chor mit dem Altar ist nun als heiligster Teil der Kirche gleichwohl auch der hellste Bereich. Der Chor erhält durch gelblich-warmes Licht eine zentrale Bedeutung und weckt Assoziationen zu Wärme und Sonnenlicht. Die hoch liegenden Fenster im Kirchenraum bringen tagsüber viel Tageslicht in den Raum - Licht des Himmels. Am Abend sorgen nach oben gerichtete Leuchten für eine gleichmässige Aufhellung der Decke mit ihrer feinen Struktur. Dadurch wirkt der Raum in seiner ganzen Höhe. Die Pendelleuchten sorgen für ein warmes Raumlicht und bringen gleichzeitig ausreichend Helligkeit in die Sitzreihen, so dass Gesangbücher gut gelesen werden können.

With the new lighting concept, an atmosphere was created which accentuates the architecture and radiates a pleasant warmth and security: the choir with the altar is now the holiest part of the church, but also the brightest area. The choir is given a central meaning by yellowish-warm light and evokes associations with warmth and sunlight. The high windows in the church interior bring a lot of daylight into the room during the day - light from the sky. In the evening, luminaires directed upwards provide a uniform illumination of the ceiling with its fine structure. This gives the room its full height. The pendant luminaires provide a warm room light and at the same time bring sufficient brightness to the rows of seats so that songbooks can be read easily.
